Reply to BKK Dan „Bargains anyone – Thaidealz“, Absolutely Bangkok

Dan, Dan, Dan, I wrote about you on August 20th before and already had the suspicion that you „borrowed“ the name Absolutely Bangkok from Absolute Yoga.
It does not surprise me that „your new idea“ is Thaidealz after we emailed and you got to know Mydealz from my brother, Germany’s biggest blog which is around 100 times bigger than you.
This is the second and last time I write about you. Copycats and losers are not worth my time. Your readers will find out someday : you can keep the community that still sticks with you once they know. I build things with creative, thoughtful people.
Good bye Absolute Bullshit.

I switched to a new server and hope things will run smooth now. Some comments got lost in the transfer though.

Have a happy new year. Next weekend I will release a Koh Chang video on Vimeo. Youtube is currently having a sound converter problem, that’s why the sound of my last videos got delayed in HD. I will wait untill they have it fixed before I upload new videos there. I also had to file again copyright infringements against some Pattaya morons. They are really the most uncreative guys. It only shows again that Global Nanpa is currently producing the pioneering cutting edge SEA, completely self-made, nanpa videos. It attracts copycats.

Angeles City Invaders must die : Tight pussy alarm - Global Nanpa in AC

Here is a “best of” video from my last AC trip. I want to thank all the sweet girls and friendly people of AC for the wonderful memories. There is no way I could ever forget any of those cuties. In 35 years, when I am 65 years-old and unable to enjoy the former physical pleasures of my body, I will look back at this video and will say to myself : “Yep, you did the right thing my friend.”

This is probably my best video so far. It’s my christmas gift for you. Enjoy the new benchmark for Angeles City videos here :

Indonesia vs Thailand : Checking statistics of tourism data. 2009 first time equal number of visitors ?

I was recently reading the interesting post from Solenn, Jak Snaps, comparing the touristic attraction of Indonesia vs. Thailand. I agree with her mainly.
Only one thing got wrong : the used numbers are not correct.
It fueled my interest and I did a little bit of research on statistics of the tourism of Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and on what nationalities are visiting those 3 SEA countries.

Philippines still is the smallest market for tourism of them but growing steadily. 2007 about 3 million people came to the Philippines, 650.000 from South Korea, 550.000 from the USA, 400.000 from Japan.
Indonesia had 5.5 million international tourists and will probably have around 6 million in 2008. More than 2 million were visiting Bali alone in 2008.  500.000 people came from Japan, 400.000 from Australia, 330.000 from South Korea.
Indonesia did a horrible job in marketing themselves as a great vacation destination. In the past 10 years the international visitor numbers remained almost flat.
Thailand’s visitor numbers grew steady year per year and the number doubled within 10 years.
2007 they had 14 million international tourists, double as much as Indonesia. European’s are the largest group of visitors there with over 4 million people.
The numbers for 2008 remain unclear because of the recent political troubles.
It is likely that 2009 the international visitor numbers will drop heavy, maybe by 50% for Thailand because of the more than 1 week airport closure in Bangkok last month.
Indonesia’s visitors might climb to 7 million in 2009, so Thailand and Indonesia might be on pari in terms of tourists for the first time ever. That would be a historical mark for Indonesia in 2009.
However I suppose that the visitor numbers for Thailand will shoot back quickly to old values in 2010 or 2011.
Indonesia should try to take advantage of the current weakness of Thailand to gain sustainable ground for future tourism.

How did it all go wrong?

Indonesia can sometimes be very frustrating. Another example recently is the new ad campaign “Visit Indonesia 2008”. Here we are in a 17,000 island archipelago blessed with the most amazing touristic potential anyone could ever dream of. You name it, they have it – save for skiing zones. Paradise beaches? Check: Maluku, white sand, crystal clear water and nothing but you and coconuts. Awesome natural sights? Check: Java volcanoes, full to the brim with mystical legends; the second largest rain forest after Brazil; Lombok rice terrasses. Fascinating local culture? Check: balinese rituals; World heritage Borobudur temples; sexy penis gourd people; crazy Toraja burial ceremonies. Once-in-a-lifetime experiences? Check: hanging out with wild orang-outang, poking Komodo dragons with a stick; sunrise on top of Kelimutu. Friendliest people on earth? Check: just about everywhere (more to come about that).
You’ve got it all. But less than 5 million people come every year to visit, when 30 million of them will be fooled to think Thailand is the place to go. Pfff… Several reasons: so many Westerners think Bali is an independent country, and most are afraid of the crazy Muslims and lack of infrastructures. Wrong on the first two assumption. The second is quite accurate though: the commoner’s idea of a paradise beach usually does not include squat toilets where if you forgot to bring your own toilet paper, you’re screwed.
So, there is a lot of work to do to attract people to the archipelago, and the genius Minister of Tourism decided he had to take the matter in his own hands – of course without wasting time hiring tourism and communication specialists to help him. He came up with a fantastic motto “celebrating 100 years of nation awakening” - yes, with the grammatical mistake now plastered on all Garuda Indonesia flights - and a pretty ridiculous ad campaign. ‘Cause you know, what is most important is to get back at the Malaysians, who last year celebrated their 50th anniversary of independence (in Indonesia, it is just compulsary to HATE Malaysia); so the officials decided they will have a 100th anniversary of some sort, that happened to be the creation of a nationalist party long gone that nobody has ever heard of. And that’s what is supposed to bring the crowds in the country? Sigh.

psycho_in_thailand.jpg

Pattaya wasn’t my second destination during the trip, but it fits to write about it in this order.

I was planning for 6 days in Pattaya but actually left after 5 days because the candy factory effect was kicking in again after exactly 5 days. The funny thing was that I tried to get in touch with an old friend during my last 2 days in Pattaya. Her old number was not active anymore and she usually is a person who checks her email rather seldom. But I was very lucky : When informing her that I was in Thailand right now, she replied the next day already. She was just on the jump, moving with her whole stuff from Bangkok to Koh Chang on the very next day. So I spontaneously decided that I wanted to join her. Pattaya is on the way from Bangkok towards Trat and Koh Chang. She came to Pattaya with her car and belongings for 1 day and then we moved on to Koh Chang where we celebrated Loy Krathong together.

Loy Krathong on Koh Chang was a wonderful memory, maybe the best time of the entire trip. She is the only girl so far that I keep on visiting and visiting, now for the 4th time already. She is very fun to hang out with. She is sexy, speaks good English, is uncomplicated and we almost never argued. A lucky guy who marries her someday. She saved up some money and now rented a bar in Koh Chang, at a very cool complex. The tourist problems won’t be easy to handle, I hope she does not get into trouble. The Germans are surprisingly one of the main tourist groups in Koh Chang by the way. There also are not many other nations who get more vacation than the average German (4-5 weeks) per year. Japanese only take 1 week in average for comparison ! The Euro is getting stronger again while the US economy is collapsing completely 2009 : so beware of the European buying power.

I still cannot remember anymore how I actually came to Pattaya. The memory is gone. I must have gotten there together with a nice girl from Bangkok. I stayed with N. quiet some time in BKK, and I also see her in my Pattaya videos. I therefore assume that she joined me on the way to Pattaya. I stayed at Pattaya Bay Resort, at the presidential suite. The hotel offers an excellent deal for money. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit far away from the action. The owner is very friendly and well connected to other bar owners like Boesche, etc… I stayed with many girls for 5 days in Pattaya. That was quiet tiring and nothing I neccessarily need to repeat… Maybe around 12 girls in 5 days ? I stayed with the girl from BKK most of the time and she allowed me to take additional girls short-time and helped me with the interviews. Some of the girls you see in my video „Pattay Pussy Galore : BIG PIMPIN“. The girl from BKK was very nice, she actually has a tattoo on her back that Angelina Jolie also got from the same tattoo master. There is only 1 person in Thailand who does this tattoo in the authentic way. You see it in the video as well. We got into a quarrel after day 4 in Pattaya, so we decided that she leaves for BKK. It was my mistake not hers. Apologies to you if you read this : Please email me (i lost yours). Next day I met a really cute Thai girl. Maybe it was better that I could only stay 1 night with her. Like she said herself, it might had broken her heart if she had stayed longer with me. She looked really unhappy when she saw me on my last night with my old friend. I hope she is fine. I had a really crazy evening/night with her and shot quiet a lot video along that will save the memories. I am really happy that I have the videos, otherwise a lot of memories might have been lost.

So what changed in Pattaya since 1 year ? New bars opened, others closed. Same, same like always. The face of Pattaya is changing constantly but not dramatic. The high influx of Russians is very visible and dance clubs like Ocean 10 do special Russian parties for example. The Arabian section is also growing fast and their places look good. The girls seem to get animated to smoke there. Happy Agogo and Boesche are still the number 1 for me. I had a really good time in Boesche and went there quiet often. Some people wrote in the net that Boesche’s standard has declined. I cannot confirm this, for me it is clearly one of the Top 3. New in my Top 3 Pattaya Go-Go guide is Airport Club on Walking Street. A really nice idea, girls are dressed in airline uniforms. Really cute and I think I have a fetish for airline uniforms, haha. The club is a bit too small which is the biggest problem. The girls are friendly and sweet. Happy Agogo still attracts the top talent. I checked out the ladyboy talent in Pattaya this time quiet rigorously. It seems there is a high interest for ladyboys/katoeys in the internet. Also personally it was interesting to interview a few ladyboys and to get to know more about their unusual lives. I release some videos later.

Gogo shows in Pattaya cannot compete with the dance routine of Angeles City bars. They have choreographs who study the dances with the girls. Tough organization, also knowing how high the fluctuation rate of the girls is. For clubbing Hollywood is good. Xzyte was undergoing construction while I was there. Another really good bar is Club Blue, pretty cool style. Many other bars copied their style. A big problem of Club Blue is its location. I also like Utopia Lounge at Soho square. A few cuties are dancing around there, next to some British farang chicks who are employed by the B52 disco, to bring in some farang couples. B52 is ok, but not great.I really don’t get it why people are coming with their farang girl-friends to Pattaya. Some of those guys look like close to suicide seeing all the wet pussy around while they have to stick to a whining and complaining, cellulitis chick. I am so fucXing glad to be single when I see them. I am very happy that I am not in an „honorable“ western relation, which some of my friends are living, making their parents feel fine and maybe society but not themselves. Femi-NazXs, call me a sex tourist, I don’t care. You cannot spoil the fun of those who figured it out to enjoy their lives and escaped the control of the matrix. Fools, wake up….

Yes, Pattaya is lacking top beauty talent, but it is easy to have fun there. It is more relaxed than BKK, not as business-orientated and I have no doubts that some of the beer bar freelancers would stay with a nice guy almost for free for 1-2 weeks if it fits (maybe 500 Baht per day max.). You can party hard and everything goes as long as you can pay for it.For me 1 week Pattaya on a trip is cool, but then I have to get out, best as far away from the bar scene as possible, like a beautiful island : Koh Samui or Koh Chang. The food and restaurants are really good and cheap in Pattaya. This is something I always totally miss in the Philippines. And Pattaya just has more girls and places to choose from. Pattaya’s bar scene is still around 10 times bigger than Angeles City. Search a bit and you find a cutie or a naughty freak. I always like to have 1 or 2 freaks during my time in Pattaya. One big butt girl you see in my videos, she was cool. Another girl was heavy tatooed and really ding-dong (like me, haha). The sex with her was damn hot; this type of naughty sex you rarely get in Angeles City. And yep, I had been once shortly at Bangkok Pattaya hospital; wasn’t as serious as in Bangkok and was out there after 2 hours. Cannot remember how it happened in Pattaya. I will report later about my Bumrungrad experience. It is quiet funny what kind of nicknames i get in different countries, which also shows how they behave. In Thailand it seems I am normal for them, so they call me by my name. In Philippines I got the new name Santa Claus from some girls which is related to my spending behavior there. In Jakarta I am known as the „crazy Bule“ in some bars, haha.

Pattaya will remain an interesting place, always worth to check out for a week. The large group of tourists who come in packs to walking street however start to get on my nerves a bit. I hope that won’t happen in Angeles City : An adult disney world. The big hotels and many new nightlife avenues actually are very interested to make a spicy family vacation destination out of Pattaya. It is a simple calculation. Those groups simply bring in more money. Nobody is interested in reputation and all the reasons tourist officials are using to promote it as a family resort are bullshit. It is pure money why they want to transform it. Sex tourists are in general cheap charlies, they don’t leave enough money there. Families sadly got more attractive. I think I need it more wild, raw and uncontrolled like in Jakarta.

Experience Angeles City, Philippines : Trip report 2008

I started my trip in the Philippines. I flew over Bangkok with Lufthansa connecting with Thai Airways to Manila and getting driven from there to AC. Lufthansa just sent me the frequent flyer card. I was actually planning to fly more with Qatar Airways next year but checking flights now for next year, it turns out that the connection times from Doha are not ideal to fly to Bangkok or Jakarta. I am not willing to have transfer waitings of around 6 hours. 3 hours are maximum. This is a bit sad.
Seems like I will be collecting more Miles with Miles&More next year and more American Express points which I might be using for free nights at Grand Hyatt and Shangri-La then.

I had a lot of plans for Angeles City this time and talked with 2 people from Lewis Grand Hotel during the drive. My brain was still „clean“ having passed 4 months since my last trip. I wanted to see more than the bar area which I did not manage the previous 2 times. This time I managed to see a bit more, but still a lot less than planned. This place just robs your energy quickly.
The Lewis Grand Hotel is fantastic, brand-new. Friendly staff, well equipped and I like the style. Feels a bit like the Shangri-la of Angeles City. It is more professional than all other Angeles city hotels. A thing I never liked about its biggest competitor ABC (Angeles Beach Club) hotel is that it looks so artificial. Some people might like this french king feeling they try to create for their rooms. For me, I like simple forms and not so cheesy stuff. Lewis Grand hotel that is.
But don’t underestimate the owner of ABC. He is well connected, owns a lot land and has good ideas. He also organized the beauty contest „Maganda Filipina“.
Had a chance to see/speak some people of the owner group of Lewis Grand. The most striking personality for me is an American educated Filipino in his early 30s. He is cool, we share similar thoughts and I have no doubt that with him, the hotel will continue to grow well. Their manager, an American in his late 30s, is very friendly as well and it is easy to approach him as he runs around there all the time.
The poolside area is beautiful. Finally a hotel where I don’t see all the dirt and waste lieing around in AC: They made it very green with palm trees and the pool is very nice too.
I had a poolside executive room which was directly at the pool.
You get into the AC rhythm pretty quick, which means sex and drinking full-time, having lunch around 3-4pm, chilling out at the pool untill 6pm and getting ready for the evening in your room till 8pm and then heading to the bars again. It is very difficult to break this cycle once your are in.
The guests in the hotel I found extremely friendly and relaxed. In general I find the people in AC friendlier than in Pattaya, the same is true for the girls, but both places have their advantages and disadvantages. I will continue to visit both, whereas I think AC I prefer for a week. For a month I probably would prefer Pattaya. Once you experience it, you probably understand what i mean.
The age average of the tourists in AC is about 15 years older than in Pattaya at least I would estimate, but that also makes it more relaxed and peaceful I would say.
I think the Philippines is the very best country in the world for older guys (also above 55 year-old). The girls take very good care of them and are almost like nurses. For them the „deal“ could also make sense because an older husband dies earlier and they inherit assets faster.

I had been to AC a year ago and some bars disappeared, a few new ones opened. Philippines and Indonesia definitely have a much stronger growth than Thailand in terms of construction/development, the nightlife is developing better as well. In 2009 it is clear that this trend will accelerate because of the political trouble in Thailand. Many people will try Philippines next year instead of doing Thailand. For me, a big Indonesia trip will follow next year. This country still is very mysterious for me, a lot to explore and it is not so much „in your face“ like in Thailand. Having just had a bad time in Cambodia, I decided that for SEA I will now fully focus on Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. I will also try out Latin America for my first time next year with a rather short trip to get a first feeling for it. I doubt that I like it much because I have a thing for Asian cuties and not Latinas, but I have the opinion that I have to see things by myself. Many people before always prevented me from seeing Bali, telling me how boring it is. Totally the wrong advice for me, because I love the island now and it shows again that you should only trust your own opinion. My own site should also only give you a first taste and impression, everything else you should evaluate by yourself.

Back to AC : The owner of Dollhouse opened 2 big new bars. Atlantis, the biggest and most modern bar and Crystal Palace. I recommend to regularly read the newsletter from the guy of the restaurant Margarita Station, he is very well informed and can give much better updates than me.

I had a lot fun at Atlantis and checked it out almost every day and often went partying at Skytrax afterwards with the girls. I also went to several old places again. It makes no sense to list them all here. Fields Avenue is a long street with many, many bars. Just walk up and down and you can check out what bar you like. Perimeter road is the cheaper alternative with plenty of expats inside. Newbies should check Wayne’s map for AC.

I also met some old friends I knew from my previous 2 trips. These girls are so cute and friendly. People who cannot have a good time there, are not human.
However the candy/chocolate factory effect (at least for me) kicks in after around 5 days, then it is time to do some other things as well, otherwise the whole bar area depresses you and makes you sick.
I went to see Clark airport and the military base with 2 girls and we also looked at some construction projects (some villa parks are only constructed for Koreans and the areas are huge). We also looked at a village area and drove a bit around with the Lewis Grand shuttle. I am surprised that places around AC are much greener than I thought previously. I always had the „shithole“ bar area scenario in my mind. But around it, the place looks actually not that bad and very green, even better than things look around Pattaya. Subic is only 30 min away and it replaces the missing beach that Pattaya has. But it is no comparison to Boracay. I have a plan to check out Palawan Islands (most likely Lagen Island, El Nido resort) on the second next Philippines trip as well. Boracay comes first again next time. I plan to increase my yearly time for Philippines a bit and decrease my Thailand time a bit. Indonesia I keep constant. Still in terms of days, Thailand will still be number one, Indonesia second and Philippines third. Bangkok got too important for me and is absolutely mandatory now to be there several times per year.

I met some really nice bargirls you see in my videos. Thanks for the good time.
My old friend M. with whom I stayed a long time the previous two trips, came to AC to see me again. She is one of the only bargirls who really achieved to get out. She saved enough money in 2 years, got a nursing degree, got married with a young American dude and will work for a hospital in the USA once she has the greencard. She wants to buy a small house in a nice neighborhood (with a 0% interest loan !) in the Phillipines so that her kids are able to attend a good school later. She is smart and an extremely charming lady.
I am very proud of her but on the other hand sad that I might not see her again.
She is a rare exception. Most girls never get out…Too many problems they cannot handle…
Her mamasan (A.) cried when she saw M. again. I think she was one of her top girls.
A. now works at Atlantis and is in control of some very hot babes. If I had a bar there, I would try to recruit her, because the girls trust her. I talked quiet a long time with A. She knows a lot about AC, is smart and a good organizer.

I had a pretty good time partying with the girls at Skytrax. That place I didn’t see last year, not sure if it is new ? Watch the video to get an impression. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zJ5S6pkj-s

Quiet a lot young guys hang out there, also Filipino men. I like it more mixed and not that seperated by culture. Thailand bar owners are very racist in organizing the bar structure for different cultures. They should take Indonesia as a role model where you see all different cultures, religions, age groups at one place (check out Top Gun at Blok M !).
The only ones in the Phillipines who behave real racist are the Koreans (not all of them of course). I don’t understand why they want/have to seperate themselves so much from others ?? They are flying in extreme numbers to the Philippines, they are overflooding places like Boracay too because of extremely cheap and frequent flights. What the Russians are for Thailand now, the Koreans are for the Philippines. Only Indonesia is still safe from such bullshit.

My last night in the Philippines I got fucked up drunk. I started drinking in my room, went on to the bar of Lewis Grand where my face turned scary red because of a too fast alcohol influx, but gladly the normal face color returned after 2 hours (scary…). I spent a large package of money that night. Watching some videos, I must have had a blast, but later on I forgot to shoot video, so the memories are gone and the girls told me later what happened and what I did. Pretty crazy. Well, but my mobile phone was also gone the next day and I felt like shit on my way back to the airport. 2 girls were actually so kind to come to my hotel and room because they knew my check out time (they actually told me that they slept at the poolside of the hotel). I was so crashed that I did not hear the wake up call or picked up and fell asleep again. They knocked at my door and helped me that I didn’t miss the flight.

I really do miss some of the girls in AC. It is extremely GFE. If you do not want to develop feelings, don’t stay longer than 1 day with a girl, otherwise you are lost if you still have a heart and are not that hardened and jaded yet.

2008 and 1998 were the 2 most important years in my life. During this year I made decisions that will determine my life for the next 10 years, so similar like in 1998.
A lot of new challenges and adventures are waiting. I am excited how things develop.
I am in a better position than ever before. What makes me most happy is seeing long-term plans working out. My last 10 year plan worked out.

Check out my latest video : Pattaya Pussy Galore : BIG PIMPIN

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPopjS9o2fU

My new youtube videos are finally now also available in HD, so not only on Vimeo you can enjoy the better quality now. I think my videos improved a lot compared with 1 year ago when I started with a first crappy picture compilation video.

I currently like quotes, I will end with another one :

“Most people, including ourselves, live in a world of relative ignorance. We are even comfortable with that ignorance, because it is all we know. When we first start facing truth, the process may be frightening, and many people run back to their old lives. But if you continue to seek truth, you will eventually be able to handle it better. In fact, you want more! It’s true that many people around you now may think you are weird or even a danger to society, but you don’t care. Once you’ve tasted the truth, you won’t ever want to go back to being ignorant”.
