Double Satisfaction : Rockin’ it hard on Bali

This is one of my most skilled nanpa videos I shot so far. The degree of popularity I achieved after only three 1 week visits to Bali is incredible. True individual people do join the party with Global Nanpa. What the fuck ?!

Check out the video :

For comparison reasons my first real nanpa video I released 2 ½ years ago :

Bali is a cool place. I mean the beaches are fine but not fantastic and no comparison with the Philippines but Bali scores high in every aspect. You can have lots of party like in this video, you can enjoy the beach, cultural highlights like temples, villages, rice terraces, volcanoes and of course you can pamper yourself at the most luxurious villas and hotels across whole South East Asia for a reasonable price in western eyes. Don’t forget that Bali is still the No.1 tourist spot of entire SEA.
If you can do it there, you most likely will be able to achieve it everywhere in SEA.

Afternoon Delight in Bangkok : Siam Square and Chulalongkorn University

Siam Square is currently my favorite afternoon nanpa place in Bangkok. Tons of cute university girls walking around in a peaceful and entertaining area. Siam Square is close to Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s most prestigious university. In fact Siam Square got developed in its beginning from the university. You will find hotels, boutique stores, beauty salons and spas for teens, music/fashion/electronic stores which mostly have more charms than the big brands/labels at Siam Paragon or other malls. I also like the restaurants, they offer a rich diversity ranging from Isan style Thai over Hongkong noodles to Japanese cuisine. I am a big fan of the Thai school girl uniform by the way - seems like I have some japanese genes inside of me, hehe. I certainly prefer street nanpa over nanpa in malls. It simply feels more real for me. Siam Square is like a small scale version of Shibuya in case you know a bit about Tokyo. There is a strange mistake in the Wikipedia entry about Siam Square. It gets described there as the “Shinjuku of Thailand”. LOL, I crack myself up. This shows us again how stupid Wikipedia sometimes is : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siam_Square

I love drinking one of those healthy smoothies and then just getting lost in the area, walking around with no goal and sometimes getting into funny talks and situations. In the video I am chatting with two Thai students and two guys who seem to shoot some sort of video there for their communication studies. The girls can even speak a bit of German. Very cute girls ! On the way I see two really gorgeous looking babes but they look a bit snobby so I decide not trying to approach them. At the end, a girl is accidentally falling almost in front of my feet because one of her heels broke away. This developed into something really interesting and was a very memorable experience. Damn, sometimes when you absolutely don’t expect it, the strangest things can happen…

Also check out that short talk I had with a food technology student at Chulalongkorn university. Apologies, I think I was hangover drunk when shooting that talk :

For the friends of the naughty “Afternoon Delight” : Lower Sukhumvit - Soi 5, Soi 7, Soi 8, The Tunnel. Some places are Gulliver’s on Soi 5, Beergarden and Amari Hotel on Soi 7 and BJ bar Lolita’s on Soi 8 :

stop_reading_news_globalnanpa

About half a year ago I stopped reading daily newspaper…and nothing happened. In our society we are getting overflooded with information. Most people are totally missing the big picture and the system also wants to maintain them in the jungle of disinformation, confusion and fear implication. News are mostly very short-term influenced and they mainly have no long-term impact. Moreover for you personally, news have no real value for the everyday life.
I started to feel less stressed since I came to the conclusion to consciously avoid reading newspaper covers and ad screens on my daily routine path.
I am only reading a handful of magazines on a weekly basis and around a dozen of websites every second week or so. That’s totally sufficient for me to be very well informed about what’s happening on this planet. The more you escape from it, the more you see how totally unimportant news are for your life.
News are a huge business and moreover a tool for controlling the mass. You would never read from people inside of this machinery any basic negative thing about it. Free your mind ! Instead of reading useless bullshit, better use the new won time for dreaming of something positive and reject daily newspaper and TV shows in general.

Bang, Bang, Bangkok : Fuck the pain away

It’s been quiet a while since my last bargirl video.  I only made a little pause to show that the spectrum is getting more diverse. Bargirls will remain an important topic here. The video speaks for itself, I don’t think explanations are necessary.

Terra incognita : Global citizen @ Four Seasons hotel, Bangkok

“My country is the world, and my religion is to do good.”

One of the main original ideas of the concept of Global Nanpa was to show how places really look like, trying it in an amateur, high quality POV style but still not professional or manipulated promoted : not using sophisticated video editing tools and not cutting scenes together which got shot over and over again for a perfectional look and appearance. NO : Global Nanpa lets the camera run, shows unwanted and embarrasing scenes, it is simply the truth and reality - a very powerful combination. I fully believe that this kind of POV (travel) reporting will have a tremendous impact on the world and Global Nanpa is the pioneer. I videotape places, discuss topics, and act in ways nobody has ever done before on public video. It serves the purpose to entertain and inform other people and to create a database of my own personal memories. Ultimately this will change the lifestyle of other, especially younger people, switching from a path of solely pursueing money/fame/power to pursueing memories/experiences/happiness.
