Reply to BKK Dan „Bargains anyone – Thaidealz“, Absolutely Bangkok

Dan, Dan, Dan, I wrote about you on August 20th before and already had the suspicion that you „borrowed“ the name Absolutely Bangkok from Absolute Yoga.
It does not surprise me that „your new idea“ is Thaidealz after we emailed and you got to know Mydealz from my brother, Germany’s biggest blog which is around 100 times bigger than you.
This is the second and last time I write about you. Copycats and losers are not worth my time. Your readers will find out someday : you can keep the community that still sticks with you once they know. I build things with creative, thoughtful people.
Good bye Absolute Bullshit.

I switched to a new server and hope things will run smooth now. Some comments got lost in the transfer though.

Have a happy new year. Next weekend I will release a Koh Chang video on Vimeo. Youtube is currently having a sound converter problem, that’s why the sound of my last videos got delayed in HD. I will wait untill they have it fixed before I upload new videos there. I also had to file again copyright infringements against some Pattaya morons. They are really the most uncreative guys. It only shows again that Global Nanpa is currently producing the pioneering cutting edge SEA, completely self-made, nanpa videos. It attracts copycats.

    Hi Joe,
i try to write a bit more for the Bangkok trip report, including some price levels.
Next will be a shorter Hua Hin and Koh Chang report.

Op : hehe, sounds like a trip from Bangkok to Beijing.
I am not sure if i can join there. I am also more into driving cars - motorbikes are too dangerous for my taste in Asia.
Yep, would like to have a look at your video material later.

    Cheers

    hey global nanpa!
i am going to angeles city from the 6th of january to the 20th.

i have found a hotel where a single room costs 1800php per night, and a taxi from the airport to the hotel for 2800php.

Do you know some cheaper hotel/apartment to suggest?

i dont mind luxury at all. i just want a very safe place.

thank you very much, hope you have time to answer!

  5. globalnanpa Says:

    Hi Alberto,

thanks for the message. Where do you plan to stay ?
The best budget hotel i know and personally experienced is
the Pacific Breeze. The location is excellent and the staff very friendly. The cheapest rooms will cost you 2200 Peso.
If you want to go even more budget, have a look at the Clarkton Hotel. Personally I would rather spend 400 Peso extra and have a really ok room and better location.

Wow, soon you are heading to PI and 2 weeks moreover. Is your name spanish ? would be great if you could update us with a short trip report afterwards.

  6. Cundallthepieman Says:

Cheapest way to AC if from the airport… get a Taxi (100 to 150php NO MORE) to 5Star Bus Station in Pasay… Get the Bus to Dau (137php) and then get a trike 100php anywhere in AC

    Total 387php to AC :D

How cheap do you want to go for a hotel????

I am staying at the place below:
    http://www.hostelbookers.com/booking/index.cfm?hostel=17268&nights=5&fuseaction=hosteldetails

I have a great time with a very small budget… but i normally go more often and go to other places..

Budget travel i am your man…

    Cundall

Hint… Fly to HongKong and have a couple of days break and then get a low cost airline to Clark rather than Manila.

  7. Cundallthepieman Says:

    sorry…

I had forgotten to say… this is a great video of Thailand!

    Hi Cundall,

yeo i know that video. I featured it on August 16th, placing it on No. 3 : http://www.globalnanpa.com/blog/?p=283

  9. globalnanpa Says:

thanks for the links and hotel info Cundall. 400 peso to AC from Manila ! thats indeed
    a BARGAIN ! LOL !
Cebu Pacific flies directly to Clark but i don’t like that airlines. They fly during night times, often have delays and I don’t find it the safest. who knows about the safety checks they do before flying….
anyway, lots of good info. thanks
