Like ususal I only portray the places I recently visited and that I find worth mentioning. Bangkok and Jakarta in my eyes are the very best places worldwide for a massage. For dirty massages I recommend Jakarta and for normal spas I recommend going to Bangkok. I deleted (July 2011) the normal spas from the list because I don’t regard them to be good enough to be watched. The Dharmawangsa hotel has the best normal spa but compared with Bangkok it is just mediocre.

They have around 300 girls working there, building has 6 flors. It is not as dark as Alexis and easier to move around. They also have more expensive Chinese, Russian and Latina girls.

2. ALEXIS SPA, Alexis hotel, 7th flor
Jl. R.E. Martadinata No.1, North Jakarta

Upscale dirty spa in Jakarta. They have around 80 girls coming from Indonesia, China, Thailand and Russia/Uzbekistan.

3. ILLIGALS, Jl.Hayam Wuruk No.108

Newcomer among the upscale dirty spas. Place has potential but currently lacks character and is poorly organized and managed.

4. V2 LOUNGE, 4th flor
Jl. Gajahmada Duta Merlin Plaza, West Jakarta

Stylish place, a bit more spacious than the Alexis spa with about 100 girls. The Indonesian girls are very sexy. Impressive bathing and work-out places. Feels like the “grown-up” version of Alexis.

5. EMPORIUM SPA

Extremely friendly staff. They have around 80 girls. Girls and place ranks a bit below the other 3 but still the fun level can be very high.

Moderate priced spa inside a full-service entertainment hotel&venue. This out-of-this-world place is typical for Jakarta in general.

Jl. Industri raya 8 gunung Sahari, behind Sheraton Gurung Sahari, West Jakarta

They have 20 girls and 1 stylish room. Manager is very friendlly.

8. HOTEL TRAVEL, Spa
Jl. Mangga Besar VIII/21, West Jakarta

They have around 200 girls, mostly average looking. The place is popular probably because of the low price level.

9. DELTA GUNUNG SAHARI (Puri Group spa)

This spa is non-dirty actually and cheap. A 90 min aromatherapy costs 230k IDR for example. This spa is french decor styled.
